Gentle Exterior Canvas Window Shade Soft Washing In Homewood, AL

This Homewood, AL customer called us to see if we could clean the canvas window shades on the exterior of his home that had become discolored over the years from pollen and exposure to the elements. After verifying the canvas shades were made to have sodium hypochlorite used on them for cleaning, we informed the customer that soft washing was the best method for the job.

In a matter of a few hours we were able to remove the caked on pollen and algae from the window shades. The shades were also showing signs of lichen growth, but by increasing the pressure ever so slightly, we were able to remove the lichen growth as well.

Upon completion of the work, the customer was astonished at the results, and actually told us that he had thought of changing them prior to calling us, but wanted to get an answer from a different company prior to spending the money to replace all of the exterior window shades. He stated that he was doubtful that the shades could go back to the original black from the dull grey they were when we started. This customer said that he wished that he'd called us first rather than spending months of getting answers from other contractors that only led to disappointment.

He asked for several business cards and stated that his neighbors had requested them in the event that he was able to find someone that could clean his shades. We ended up doing more work in his neighborhood in the following months.
