Dramatic Concrete Cleaning In Pelham, AL

The customer for this project is one of the daughters of the couple that used to live here. Her father had passed some time ago, but her mother just recently passed and they were trying to get the Pelham, AL home cleaned up to put on the market. The customer contacted us about a concrete cleaning and stated that she understood that all of the staining might not come up. We arranged a time for us to come take a look because her father used one of the spaces for small engine repair and storage, and the home's garage had oil stains from spills that were never properly cleaned up. After assessing both areas, we informed the customer that we were sure that we could lighten the concrete, but without resurfacing the concrete, there would be some permanent staining due to the spills occurring over 60 plus years. The customer agreed and we scheduled the concrete cleaning.

When presented a job like this, there is only so much we can do. The oil, grease, and fuels that had been allowed to soak into the concrete over the years did permanently stain it, but we were able to lighten it quite a bit.

The customer was present for the cleaning the entire time we were there. She said she didn't expect us to get it as clean as we did, but she was very happy with the results and the next owner could resurface it if they wanted, but this was as far as she was willing to go before putting the home on the market.
